4. Сила тяготения, или гравитация, – это универсальное свойство всех материальных тел притягивать друг друга. Это одна из четырех фундаментальных сил природы, и ее проявления мы наблюдаем повсеместно. Вот несколько примеров действия силы тяготения:
• Падение тел. Самый наглядный пример – это падение любого предмета на Землю. Яблоко, падающее с дерева, капли дождя, подброшенный вверх и возвращающийся обратно мяч – все они движутся к центру Земли под действием силы тяжести, которая является проявлением силы тяготения.
• Движение небесных тел. Сила тяготения управляет движением планет, звезд и галактик. Например, Земля и другие планеты движутся по своим орбитам вокруг Солнца именно потому, что их притягивает массивное Солнце. Точно так же Луна удерживается на орбите вокруг Земли силой земного притяжения.
• Морские приливы и отливы. Периодические колебания уровня моря вызваны гравитационным воздействием Луны и, в меньшей степени, Солнца на водную оболочку Земли.
• Удержание атмосферы. Сила тяготения Земли удерживает вокруг нее газовую оболочку – атмосферу. Без гравитации газы, составляющие воздух, просто рассеялись бы в космическом пространстве.
• Формирование и структура Вселенной. Гравитация играет ключевую роль в формировании космических объектов. Именно сила тяготения заставляет облака газа и пыли сжиматься, образуя звезды и планеты. Она же собирает звезды в галактики, а галактики – в скопления.
• Вес тела. Вес, который мы измеряем с помощью весов, – это сила, с которой тело давит на опору или растягивает подвес вследствие гравитационного притяжения к Земле.
Ответ: Примерами действия силы тяготения являются: падение предметов на землю, движение планет вокруг Солнца, вращение Луны вокруг Земли, существование морских приливов и отливов, удержание атмосферы планетой, формирование звезд и галактик, а также наличие веса у тел.
