5. В цилиндрической шайбе радиусом $\text{R}$ вырезано сквозное отверстие радиусом $\text{r}$. Центр отверстия находится на расстоянии $\text{l}$ от оси шайбы (рис. 169). Найдите расстояние, на котором находится центр масс шайбы от её оси.

Радиус цилиндрической шайбы - $R$
Радиус сквозного отверстия - $r$
Расстояние от центра шайбы до центра отверстия - $l$
Найти:
Расстояние от оси шайбы до ее центра масс - $x_{цм}$
Решение:
Для определения положения центра масс воспользуемся методом "отрицательной массы". Шайбу с отверстием можно рассматривать как сплошной диск радиусом $R$ с положительной массой, к которому добавили диск радиусом $r$ с отрицательной массой, расположенный в месте отверстия.
Выберем систему координат так, чтобы ее начало совпадало с центром исходной сплошной шайбы (точка C на рисунке), а ось X проходила через центр вырезанного отверстия. В этой системе координат центр масс сплошной шайбы имеет координату $x_1 = 0$. Центр вырезанного отверстия (и, соответственно, центр "отрицательной массы") имеет координату $x_2 = l$.
Поскольку шайба однородна и имеет постоянную толщину, ее масса пропорциональна площади. Обозначим поверхностную плотность материала как $\sigma$.
Масса сплошной шайбы до вырезания отверстия:
$m_1 = \sigma \cdot A_1 = \sigma \pi R^2$
Масса вырезанной части (которую мы будем считать отрицательной):
$m_2 = \sigma \cdot A_2 = \sigma \pi r^2$
Координата центра масс $x_{цм}$ системы находится по формуле:
$x_{цм} = \frac{m_1 x_1 + (-m_2) x_2}{m_1 + (-m_2)} = \frac{m_1 x_1 - m_2 x_2}{m_1 - m_2}$
Подставим наши значения в формулу:
$x_{цм} = \frac{(\sigma \pi R^2) \cdot 0 - (\sigma \pi r^2) \cdot l}{\sigma \pi R^2 - \sigma \pi r^2}$
Упростим выражение, сократив общий множитель $\sigma \pi$ в числителе и знаменателе:
$x_{цм} = \frac{-r^2 l}{R^2 - r^2}$
Знак "минус" в результате означает, что центр масс сместился от оси шайбы в сторону, противоположную отверстию. Задача спрашивает о расстоянии, которое является абсолютной величиной (модулем) координаты центра масс.
Расстояние = $|x_{цм}| = |\frac{-r^2 l}{R^2 - r^2}| = \frac{r^2 l}{R^2 - r^2}$
Ответ: Расстояние, на котором находится центр масс шайбы от её оси, равно $\frac{r^2 l}{R^2 - r^2}$.
