Доказательство:
Обозначим плоскость, в которой лежит треугольник $ABC$, как $(ABC)$. Пусть $M$ – середина стороны $AB$. По условию, плоскость $\alpha$ проходит через точку $M$, следовательно, $M \in \alpha$. Так как точка $M$ также принадлежит прямой $AB$, она принадлежит и плоскости $(ABC)$.
Поскольку плоскости $\alpha$ и $(ABC)$ имеют общую точку $M$, они пересекаются. Линией пересечения двух плоскостей является прямая. Обозначим эту прямую как $m$. Таким образом, $m = \alpha \cap (ABC)$, и точка $M$ лежит на этой прямой ($M \in m$).
По условию задачи, плоскость $\alpha$ параллельна прямой $BC$ ($\alpha \parallel BC$). Прямая $BC$ целиком лежит в плоскости $(ABC)$. Пусть $N$ – точка пересечения прямой $m$ и стороны $AC$. Тогда, согласно теореме, $N$ является серединой стороны $AC$ ($AN = NC$). Поскольку прямая $m$ целиком лежит в плоскости $\alpha$ (по определению линии пересечения), то и точка $N$, принадлежащая прямой $m$, также принадлежит плоскости $\alpha$.
Таким образом, мы доказали, что плоскость $\alpha$ проходит через середину стороны $AC$, что и требовалось доказать.
Ответ: Утверждение доказано. Линия пересечения плоскости $\alpha$ с плоскостью треугольника $ABC$ проходит через середину стороны $AB$ и параллельна стороне $BC$.
