Для построения сечения куба $ABCDA_1B_1C_1D_1$ плоскостью $EFK$ выполним следующие шаги:
- Построение следов сечения на смежных гранях.
Точки $E$ и $F$ лежат в плоскости одной грани — боковой грани $BCC_1B_1$. Следовательно, отрезок $EF$ является линией пересечения секущей плоскости с этой гранью и одной из сторон искомого сечения.
Аналогично, точки $F$ и $K$ лежат в плоскости боковой грани $CDD_1C_1$. Соединив их, получаем отрезок $FK$ — еще одну сторону сечения.
- Использование свойства параллельности граней куба.
Противоположные грани куба параллельны. В частности, грань $ADD_1A_1$ параллельна грани $BCC_1B_1$. Согласно свойству, если плоскость пересекает две параллельные плоскости, то линии пересечения параллельны.
Это означает, что линия пересечения секущей плоскости $(EFK)$ с гранью $ADD_1A_1$ должна быть параллельна линии ее пересечения с гранью $BCC_1B_1$, то есть прямой $EF$.
- Построение четвертой вершины и завершение сечения.
Проведем в плоскости грани $ADD_1A_1$ через точку $K$ прямую, параллельную прямой $EF$. Точка пересечения этой прямой с ребром $AA_1$ является четвертой вершиной сечения. Обозначим эту точку $L$. Отрезок $KL$ — третья сторона сечения.
Теперь у нас есть четыре вершины сечения: $E, F, K, L$. Точки $L$ и $E$ принадлежат одной грани $ABB_1A_1$. Соединяем их отрезком $LE$, который является четвертой и последней стороной сечения.
В результате построен четырехугольник $EFKL$, который и является искомым сечением куба плоскостью $EFK$.
Ответ: Искомое сечение — четырехугольник $EFKL$, где точка $L$ является точкой пересечения ребра $AA_1$ с прямой, проведенной в плоскости грани $ADD_1A_1$ через точку $K$ параллельно прямой $EF$.
