Площадь боковой поверхности правильной призмы вычисляется по формуле $S_{бок} = P_{осн} \cdot H$, где $P_{осн}$ — периметр основания, а $H$ — высота призмы.
Основанием призмы является правильный шестиугольник со стороной $a$. Периметр такого шестиугольника равен сумме длин всех его сторон:
$P_{осн} = 6a$
Наибольшая диагональ призмы соединяет две наиболее удаленные друг от друга вершины. Рассмотрим прямоугольный треугольник, образованный наибольшей диагональю призмы ($D$), высотой призмы ($H$) и наибольшей диагональю основания ($d$). В этом треугольнике $H$ и $d$ являются катетами, а $D$ — гипотенузой. Угол наклона наибольшей диагонали призмы к плоскости основания, по условию равный $\alpha$, — это угол между диагональю $D$ и её проекцией на основание, то есть диагональю $d$.
Наибольшая диагональ правильного шестиугольника со стороной $a$ проходит через его центр и равна двум его сторонам:
$d = 2a$
Теперь из указанного прямоугольного треугольника мы можем найти высоту призмы $H$. Катет $H$ противолежит углу $\alpha$, а катет $d$ — прилежит к нему. Воспользуемся определением тангенса:
$\tan(\alpha) = \frac{H}{d}$
Выразим высоту $H$:
$H = d \cdot \tan(\alpha) = 2a \tan(\alpha)$
Подставим найденные значения периметра основания $P_{осн}$ и высоты $H$ в формулу площади боковой поверхности:
$S_{бок} = P_{осн} \cdot H = 6a \cdot (2a \tan(\alpha)) = 12a^2 \tan(\alpha)$
Ответ: $12a^2 \tan(\alpha)$
