3. Репродуктивная изоляция — это ключевой механизм микроэволюции, который приводит к видообразованию. Её значение заключается в следующем:
1) Она препятствует или полностью прекращает поток генов (обмен генетической информацией) между популяциями одного вида.
2) В результате прекращения потока генов каждая изолированная популяция развивается независимо. В её генофонде накапливаются уникальные мутации, а естественный отбор и дрейф генов действуют в специфических условиях, что ведёт к расхождению признаков.
3) Со временем генетические различия между изолированными популяциями становятся настолько существенными, что их представители теряют способность скрещиваться и давать плодовитое потомство.
4) Таким образом, репродуктивная изоляция закрепляет и усиливает генетические различия, завершая процесс дивергенции и приводя к образованию новых видов.
