65. Попробуйте представить, какими будут большие города примерно через 50 лет. Расскажите о различных аспектах городской жизни: a) размер, b) население, c) разнообразие зданий, d) транспорт, e) пробки, f) загрязнение, g) количество растительности и т.д. Решите, чье описание: самое оптимистичное, самое подробное, самое реалистичное.
Ответ:
a) size: I think big cities will become huge megacities, swallowing up smaller towns around them. / Я думаю, что большие города превратятся в огромные мегаполисы, поглотив окружающие их небольшие города.
b) population: The population will increase a lot, as more people will want to live in the city for cool jobs and fun. / Население сильно увеличится, так как все больше людей захотят жить в городе ради крутой работы и развлечений.
c) variety of buildings: There will be super-tall, shiny skyscrapers next to buildings completely covered in plants, and maybe even houses printed by giant 3D printers. / Будут сверхвысокие, блестящие небоскребы рядом со зданиями, полностью покрытыми растениями, и, возможно, даже дома, напечатанные на гигантских 3D-принтерах.
d) transport: We will probably use self-driving electric pods and super-fast underground trains. Maybe even flying taxis for short trips! / Мы, вероятно, будем использовать самоуправляемые электрические капсулы и сверхскоростные подземные поезда. I think my description is the most optimistic because I imagine a future with cool technology and a clean environment. It's detailed because I talked about many different parts of city life. Оно подробное, потому что я рассказал о многих аспектах городской жизни. И я считаю его реалистичным, потому что многие из этих технологий мы разрабатываем уже сегодня!
