I think stories A, B, and C are true. Story A is about a parrot that causes a dispute, which can happen with pets. Story B describes a burglar caught thanks to a cartoonist's drawing, which is an interesting but believable police method. Story C is about someone faking their death to avoid fines, which, unfortunately, people sometimes try to do. Story D, while heartwarming, sounds a bit like a tall tale or an exaggerated "miracle" for a goldfish to survive floods and be found a mile away by a dog. It might be partly true, but the other three seem more grounded in reality.
