Египет расположен на северо-востоке Африки и Синайском полуострове, который относится к Азии (то есть расположен на двух материках). Соседями являются Израиль, Палестина, Судан, Ливия.
Территорию омывают воды Средиземного и Красного морей. Моря соединены Суэцким каналом, что сокращает путь из Индийского в Атлантический океан. Страну пересекает великая река Нил. Издавна она являлась колыбелью цивилизации.
На побережье Средиземного моря климат субтропический. На остальной территории - тропический пустынный. Лето жаркое и сухое. Температуры поднимаются до +50 градусов. Ночи прохладные, поэтому велики суточные колебания температур. Зимой температурные показатели падают до +20-25 градусов. Осадков очень мало, от 25 до 200 мм (на Синайском полуострове).
На территории страны есть месторождения нефти, природного газа. Из магматических ископаемых - железная руда, марганцевая, цинк и свинец. Есть другие богатства: фосфориты, известняк.
Из животных водятся: бегемоты, крокодилы, верблюды, шакалы, гиены и другие более мелкие виды.
Египет - самая многонаселённая страна Ближнего Востока. Население сосредоточено в долине Нила и на побережьях.
Промышленность развита слабо. Наиболее развиты добыча полезных ископаемых, сельскохозяйственная, текстильная, швейная, пищевая отрасли. Из других относительно развитых отраслей выделяются: металлургия, машиностроение, нефтепереработка, нефтехимия. Большая статья дохода страны - туризм.
Здесь выращивают рис, хлопок, кукурузу, бобовые культуры, овощи, а также активно занимаются разведением скота - коз, овец, птицы.
Вариант 2.
Иран - государство, расположенное на юго-западе Азии. Иран граничит с: Азербайджаном, Арменией, Туркменистаном, Турцией, Ираком, Пакистаном, Афганистаном.
На севере государство омывается Каспийским морем, а на юге - Оманским и Персидским заливами, Хормузским проливом.
Иран делит акваторию Каспийского моря с Казахстаном и Россией, Персидского залива - с Саудовской Аравией, Кувейтом, Катаром, ОАЭ, и Бахрейном, Оманского залива - с Оманом. Общая площадь территории составляет 1648 тыс. кв. км.
Иран находится в самой восточной маловодной, сухой и пустынной части нагорий Передней Азии, в центральной и западной части Иранского плоскогорья, на юго-востоке Армянского нагорья.
Большую часть территории занимает Иранское нагорье (1200 м), представленное крупными плато, межгорными котловинами и горными цепями.
Климат субтропический, континентальный, на побережье Оманского и Персидского заливов - тропический. Характерны резкие колебания температур.
На северных подножьях Эльбруса, в юго-западных районах предгорья Загроса есть крупные залежи нефти и природного газа. На территории страны разработаны месторождения каменного угля, железных руд, полиметаллов, меди, цинка, молибдена, урана, хромитов, марганца, мышьяка, сурьмы, кобальта, никеля. Имеются значительные запасы строительных материалов и каменной соли. Разработаны месторождения драгоценных металлов.
Рек мало и большинство из них летом пересыхает. Реки Сефидруд и Аракс текут в Каспийское море, река Шатт-эль-Араб с притоком Карун впадает в Персидский залив. Карун - единственная судоходная река. Постоянно текущие реки можно встретить только в горах. Они используются для искусственного орошения. Большинство озер мелководные и солоновидные, многие из них превращаются в солончаковые топи или полностью пересыхают. Самые крупные озера: Урмия, Хамун, Резайе. В хозяйстве широко используются грунтовые воды.
Представлены в основном пустынно-степным типом. В Прикаспийских районах преобладают лесные буроземы, в горах - бурые и каштановые степные почвы, на плоскогорье - солончаки и пустынные сероземы, в оазисах - окультуренные почвы.
