Христиане отсчитывают годы от рождения Христа, мусульмане - от так называемой хиджры, когда пророк Мухаммед с первыми мусульманами переселился из Мекки в Ясриб, вскоре ставший Мединой по христианскому летоисчисление это произошло в 622 году от рождества Христова.
Однако просто отняв от нашего года 622, можно вычислить только так называемую солнечную хиджру. Такой календарь используется в Иране. Это солнечный календарь, только високосные годы там расставляются не так, как в календаре григорианском, по 33-х летнему циклу, зато этот календарь даже более точный, чем наш григорианский.
Большая часть мусульманского мира живёт по лунному календарю без вставных месяцев, то есть их год короче нашего, за тот же промежуток временем проходит разное число лет.
Поэтому используют сложную формулу: к мусульманскому году добавляют 622, то есть дату хиджры от рождества Христова, а потом отнимают тот же год по мусульманскому календарю, разделённый на 33. В результате получается год по григорианскому календарю. Для обратного вычисления нужно после знака равно написать дату по григорианскому календарю, а дату по мусульманскому принять за x и решить уравнение. При этом всё равно, несмотря на такие сложные вычисления в некоторые месяцы можно ошибиться на год, потому что смена года приходится на разные месяцы.
Так что это как и большое число другой справочной информации лучше посмотреть в интернете и сэкономить время: сейчас по мусульманскому календарю 1445 год, а по григорианскому - 2023.
