Батареи центрального отопления устанавливают под окнами для наиболее эффективного и равномерного обогрева помещения. Это инженерное решение основано на физическом явлении конвекции — процессе переноса тепла потоками воздуха.
Основные причины такого расположения следующие:
Создание тепловой завесы. Окна, даже самые современные, являются главным источником теплопотерь в комнате. Воздух, контактируя с холодной поверхностью стекла, охлаждается, становится плотнее и опускается вниз. Радиатор, расположенный под окном, нагревает воздух. Этот теплый, менее плотный воздух поднимается вверх, навстречу опускающемуся холодному. В результате образуется "тепловая завеса", которая не позволяет холодному воздуху распространяться по полу и создавать неприятные сквозняки.
Оптимизация циркуляции воздуха. Расположение радиатора под главным источником холода способствует организации эффективной естественной конвекции во всей комнате. Теплый воздух от батареи поднимается к потолку, затем, перемещаясь к противоположной стене, остывает, опускается и движется обратно к радиатору вдоль пола. Такой круговорот обеспечивает равномерное распределение тепла по всему объему помещения.
Предотвращение образования конденсата. Поток теплого воздуха, поднимающийся от радиатора, обдувает и согревает оконное стекло. Это повышает температуру внутренней поверхности окна, что препятствует образованию на нем конденсата (запотеванию) и, как следствие, защищает откосы и подоконник от сырости и появления плесени.
Если бы радиатор находился у внутренней стены, холодный воздух от окна беспрепятственно опускался бы на пол, создавая дискомфорт. Это привело бы к неравномерному распределению температуры в комнате: у пола было бы холодно, а под потолком — жарко.
Ответ: Батареи центрального отопления ставят под окнами для того, чтобы восходящий поток теплого воздуха от радиатора создавал тепловую завесу, которая блокирует нисходящий поток холодного воздуха от окна. Это обеспечивает эффективную циркуляцию воздуха (конвекцию) для равномерного прогрева всего помещения и предотвращает образование конденсата на стеклах.
