Пусть дан равнобедренный треугольник $ABC$ с основанием $AC$ и боковыми сторонами $AB$ и $BC$ ($AB = BC$). В треугольник вписана окружность, которая касается сторон $AB$, $BC$ и $AC$ в точках $K$, $M$ и $N$ соответственно.
По условию задачи, точка касания делит боковую сторону в отношении $5 : 7$, считая от вершины угла при основании. Рассмотрим боковую сторону $AB$ и вершину при основании $A$. Точка касания $K$ делит сторону $AB$ на отрезки $AK$ и $KB$ так, что $AK : KB = 5 : 7$.
Введем коэффициент пропорциональности $x$, тогда длины отрезков будут равны $AK = 5x$ и $KB = 7x$.
Длина боковой стороны $AB$ равна сумме длин этих отрезков:
$AB = AK + KB = 5x + 7x = 12x$.
Так как треугольник равнобедренный, то вторая боковая сторона $BC$ также равна $12x$.
Согласно свойству отрезков касательных, проведенных из одной вершины к окружности, длины этих отрезков равны. Применим это свойство к вершинам нашего треугольника:
- Из вершины $A$: $AN = AK = 5x$.
- Из вершины $B$: $BM = BK = 7x$.
- Из вершины $C$: $CN = CM$.
Найдем длину отрезка $CM$ на стороне $BC$: $CM = BC - BM = 12x - 7x = 5x$.
Следовательно, $CN = CM = 5x$.
Теперь мы можем найти длину основания $AC$, которая равна сумме отрезков $AN$ и $NC$:
$AC = AN + NC = 5x + 5x = 10x$.
Периметр треугольника равен сумме длин всех его сторон. По условию, периметр равен 68 см. Составим уравнение:
$P = AB + BC + AC$
$68 = 12x + 12x + 10x$
$68 = 34x$
Решим уравнение относительно $x$:
$x = \frac{68}{34} = 2$.
Теперь, зная значение $x$, можем найти длины сторон треугольника:
Длина боковых сторон: $AB = BC = 12x = 12 \cdot 2 = 24$ см.
Длина основания: $AC = 10x = 10 \cdot 2 = 20$ см.
