Умный дом — это настройка, в которой приборы и устройства могут автоматически управляться дистанционно из любой точки мира с помощью мобильного или другого сетевого устройства. Интернет вещей – это сеть устройств, соединенных друг с другом и с Интернетом, обменивающихся информацией и автоматически выполняющих задачи.

Что такое «умный дом»? Это комплексная система домашних устройств, которая предназначена для автоматизации бытовых задач. «Умный дом» способен энергоэффективно и качественно управлять существующими в доме бытовыми устройствами и коммуникациями как единым целым и полностью их контролировать. Например, человеку ночью захотелось выпить воды. Ему не придется искать в темноте выключатель, поскольку автоматизированная система сама включит свет.
Что может делать система «умный дом»? Главная задача — отслеживание состояния жилища. Автоматизированная система следит за любой бытовой техникой в квартире. При помощи «умного дома» можно удаленно отключить розетку от сети через мобильное приложение. Он поможет предотвратить затопление соседей при поломке стиральной машины. Для этого в помещении монтируются специальные датчики. Пользователь сразу получит уведомление о протечке в приложение на смартфоне. В итоге человек освобождается от мыслей о несуществующих проблемах и лишнего стресса. Узнать, что происходит в доме, можно с помощью телефона в любое время.
