Способ 1: Использование теоремы Виета
Для приведенного квадратного уравнения вида $x^2 + px + q = 0$ теорема Виета устанавливает следующие соотношения между корнями $x_1$ и $x_2$ и коэффициентами:
Сумма корней: $x_1 + x_2 = -p$
Произведение корней: $x_1 \cdot x_2 = q$

Способ 2: Использование свойства коэффициентов
Этот способ особенно удобен для устного решения, на что указывает пометка "(Устно)" в условии. Для квадратного уравнения вида $ax^2 + bx + c = 0$ существует свойство: если сумма его коэффициентов равна нулю ($a + b + c = 0$), то один из корней уравнения равен 1, а второй равен $c/a$.
Проверим это свойство для нашего уравнения $x^2 - 19x + 18 = 0$.
Коэффициенты здесь: $a = 1$, $b = -19$, $c = 18$.
Найдем сумму коэффициентов:
$a + b + c = 1 + (-19) + 18 = 1 - 19 + 18 = 0$.
