а) По условию парабола $y = kx^2$ проходит через точку $M(2; 20)$. Это означает, что координаты точки удовлетворяют уравнению параболы. Подставим значения $x = 2$ и $y = 20$ в уравнение:
$20 = k \cdot 2^2$
$20 = k \cdot 4$
Теперь найдем $k$, разделив обе части уравнения на 4:
$k = \frac{20}{4}$
$k = 5$
Ответ: $k = 5$.
б) Парабола проходит через точку $N(-3; 27)$. Подставим $x = -3$ и $y = 27$ в уравнение $y = kx^2$:
