My Project: The Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics
I decided to write about the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. They were called the 2020 Olympics, but they were held in 2021 because of the pandemic. It was very unusual! The motto of the Games was "United by Emotion". New sports were added, like skateboarding and surfing, which was really cool to watch.
The competitions were exciting. My favorite events were swimming and artistic gymnastics. I was cheering for athletes from different countries.
Here are the results for the top three countries in the medal table:

Я решил написать о Летних Олимпийских играх в Токио, Япония. Они назывались Олимпиадой 2020 года, но прошли в 2021 году из-за пандемии. Это было очень необычно! Девизом Игр было "Объединенные эмоциями". Были добавлены новые виды спорта, такие как скейтбординг и серфинг, за которыми было очень круто наблюдать.
