I would like to talk about Russian literature. My favourite classic Russian writer is Leo Tolstoy. I admire him because his novels, like War and Peace, are so epic and full of deep thoughts about life, society, and human nature. He is a true master of psychology. I first read one of his short stories, "The Prisoner of the Caucasus", when I was about 12 years old for a literature class. It was a very exciting story. I believe Tolstoy's writings are interesting for all ages. For example, he wrote simple fables and stories for children, which are easy to understand and teach important lessons. At the same time, his big novels like Anna Karenina are for adults because they explore complex relationships and philosophical ideas. So, everyone can find something to enjoy in his works. As for modern Russian literature, I think it's very different from the classics. There are many new genres and authors, which is cool. I've read a few modern books, and some are quite interesting, but I feel they sometimes lack the depth of the classic authors. However, it's great that our literature continues to evolve.
