4. Как следует вести себя, оказавшись во время грозы на открытой местности? Почему нельзя укрываться под деревьями?
При нахождении на открытой местности во время грозы необходимо принять меры для защиты от удара молнии. Главное правило — не быть самым высоким объектом в окрестности и избегать объектов, которые могут притянуть разряд.
Правила поведения на открытой местности:
• Следует немедленно найти наиболее низкое место, например, овраг, канаву или ложбину, и укрыться там.
• Нельзя ложиться на землю. Рекомендуется принять безопасную позу: присесть на корточки, максимально сгруппироваться, согнуть спину, опустить голову на колени и обхватить их руками. Ноги нужно держать вместе, чтобы уменьшить потенциальную разность потенциалов (шаговое напряжение) при ударе молнии в землю поблизости.
• Необходимо держаться на расстоянии не менее 30–40 метров от высоких, отдельно стоящих объектов, особенно деревьев, опор линий электропередачи, металлических конструкций.
• Если гроза застала группу людей, им следует рассредоточиться, соблюдая дистанцию в несколько метров друг от друга.
• Все металлические предметы (зонт, инструменты, украшения) нужно отложить в сторону на безопасное расстояние (не менее 15–20 метров).
Почему нельзя укрываться под деревьями:
Укрытие под деревом во время грозы чрезвычайно опасно по следующим причинам:
• Молния ищет кратчайший путь к земле и чаще всего ударяет в самый высокий объект. На открытой местности таким объектом, как правило, является дерево. Оно действует как естественный громоотвод.
• При ударе молнии в дерево по его стволу проходит электрический разряд колоссальной мощности. Человек, находящийся рядом, может быть поражен несколькими способами: прямым ударом, боковым разрядом (когда часть тока «перепрыгивает» с дерева на человека) или шаговым напряжением (когда ток растекается по поверхности земли от основания дерева).
• Огромная энергия, выделяющаяся при разряде, мгновенно испаряет влагу внутри ствола, что может привести к его расщеплению или взрыву. Летящие щепки и обломки веток представляют серьезную угрозу.
Ответ: Во время грозы на открытой местности нужно найти низину, присесть на корточки, сгруппироваться и держать ноги вместе. Нельзя укрываться под деревьями, так как они притягивают молнию, и человек рядом может быть поражен боковым разрядом, шаговым напряжением или травмирован обломками взорвавшегося от удара дерева.
