Тепловое действие электрического тока проявляется в нагревании проводника при прохождении по нему электрического тока. Это явление лежит в основе работы большинства нагревательных и осветительных приборов. Примеры использования включают в себя бытовые приборы, такие как электрические плиты, чайники, утюги, паяльники, бойлеры и различные обогреватели. Также тепловое действие используется в лампах накаливания, где тонкая вольфрамовая нить раскаляется до яркого свечения, и в плавких предохранителях, которые защищают электрические цепи от перегрузки, расплавляясь и разрывая цепь при превышении допустимой силы тока.
Ответ: Тепловое действие тока используется в электронагревательных приборах (плита, чайник, утюг), лампах накаливания, плавких предохранителях, электросварке.
Магнитное действие заключается в том, что электрический ток создает вокруг себя магнитное поле. Это свойство является основополагающим для работы множества устройств, преобразующих электрическую энергию в механическую и наоборот. Основные примеры — это электродвигатели, которые приводят в движение станки, транспорт (трамваи, электромобили) и бытовую технику (вентиляторы, стиральные машины). На этом же принципе работают электромагниты, применяемые в реле, электрических звонках, замках, грузоподъемных кранах для перемещения металлолома. Также магнитное действие используется в электрогенераторах, трансформаторах и измерительных приборах (амперметрах, вольтметрах).

Например, в гальванотехнике для нанесения на поверхность изделий тонкого слоя металла (хромирование, никелирование, золочение) для защиты от коррозии или в декоративных целях. В металлургии его используют для получения чистых металлов, таких как алюминий, медь, натрий. Также химическое действие лежит в основе работы всех химических источников тока: гальванических элементов (батареек) и аккумуляторов.
