Влажность воздуха, то есть содержание в нём водяного пара, измеряют с помощью специальных приборов, которые называются гигрометрами. Существует несколько разновидностей гигрометров, различающихся по принципу действия.
Психрометр
Это один из наиболее распространенных и точных приборов для измерения относительной влажности воздуха. Психрометр состоит из двух термометров: «сухого» и «влажного». Резервуар «влажного» термометра обернут тканью, смоченной водой. Вода, испаряясь с поверхности ткани, охлаждает термометр. Скорость испарения, а следовательно, и степень охлаждения, зависит от влажности окружающего воздуха: чем суше воздух, тем интенсивнее испарение и тем ниже показания «влажного» термометра. Относительную влажность определяют по разности температур сухого и влажного термометров с помощью специальной психометрической таблицы или диаграммы. Самый распространенный тип — психрометр Августа.
Волосной гигрометр
Принцип действия этого прибора основан на свойстве обезжиренного человеческого или конского волоса изменять свою длину при изменении влажности воздуха. При увеличении влажности волос удлиняется, а при уменьшении — укорачивается. Это изменение длины передается через систему рычагов на стрелку, которая движется по шкале, проградуированной в процентах относительной влажности. Такие гигрометры просты по устройству, но менее точны, чем психрометры, и требуют периодической калибровки.
Пленочный гигрометр
Работает по тому же принципу, что и волосной, но в качестве чувствительного элемента используется специальная органическая пленка. Пленка растягивается при повышении влажности и сжимается при её понижении, приводя в движение стрелку прибора.
Электронные (цифровые) гигрометры
Современные приборы, которые измеряют влажность, регистрируя изменения электрических параметров чувствительного элемента под воздействием влаги. Существуют емкостные и резистивные типы. Емкостные гигрометры используют конденсатор, диэлектриком в котором служит гигроскопичный полимер. При поглощении водяных паров диэлектрическая проницаемость полимера изменяется, что ведет к изменению емкости конденсатора. Резистивные гигрометры измеряют изменение электрического сопротивления материала (например, соли или проводящего полимера) при абсорбции влаги. Эти приборы обеспечивают высокую точность, быстродействие и часто совмещаются с термометрами (термогигрометры), часами и другими функциями в бытовых и промышленных устройствах.
Конденсационный гигрометр (гигрометр точки росы)
Определяет абсолютную влажность воздуха путем измерения температуры точки росы. Точка росы — это температура, до которой должен охладиться воздух, чтобы содержащийся в нем водяной пар достиг состояния насыщения и начал конденсироваться. Прибор состоит из охлаждаемого зеркальца, источника света и фотодетектора. Зеркальце охлаждают до тех пор, пока на нем не появится конденсат (роса), что фиксируется фотодетектором по изменению отраженного света. Температура зеркальца в этот момент и есть точка росы. Зная точку росы и температуру воздуха, можно точно рассчитать относительную влажность. Это один из самых точных методов измерения.
Ответ: Влажность воздуха измеряют с помощью приборов, называемых гигрометрами. Основные типы гигрометров: психрометр, волосной гигрометр, пленочный гигрометр, электронные (цифровые) гигрометры и конденсационные гигрометры.
