4. Энергосберегающая лампа, также известная как компактная люминесцентная лампа (КЛЛ), является газоразрядным источником света. Поскольку рисунок 112 не предоставлен, приводится общее описание её устройства и принципа работы.
Основные компоненты энергосберегающей лампы включают: стеклянную колбу, люминофор, электроды, электронный балласт и цоколь. Колба, часто спиралевидной формы, заполнена инертным газом (например, аргоном) и парами ртути. Её внутренняя поверхность покрыта слоем люминофора. На концах колбы расположены электроды. В цоколе лампы находится электронный балласт — схема, которая преобразует сетевое напряжение в высокочастотное, необходимое для работы лампы. Цоколь служит для подключения к патрону.
Принцип работы лампы таков: электронный балласт создает высокое напряжение между электродами, что вызывает газовый разряд в парах ртути. В результате этого разряда атомы ртути испускают невидимое ультрафиолетовое (УФ) излучение. Это УФ-излучение попадает на слой люминофора, который поглощает его и преобразует в видимый свет. От химического состава люминофора зависит оттенок света (тёплый или холодный).

5. Электрический ток в газах, или газовый разряд, нашёл широкое применение в разных сферах. Основные примеры можно сгруппировать по областям. В освещении это люминесцентные лампы (в том числе энергосберегающие), неоновые вывески, натриевые и ртутные лампы для уличного освещения, а также мощные ксеноновые лампы в прожекторах и киноаппаратуре. В промышленности и технологиях ток в газах используется для электродуговой сварки и резки металлов, где дуговой разряд создает высокотемпературную плазму. Также он применяется в микроэлектронике для плазменного травления при производстве микросхем и в газовых лазерах для создания лазерного излучения. В научных и измерительных приборах примером служат счетчики Гейгера, которые регистрируют ионизирующее излучение с помощью короткого газового разряда. Также можно упомянуть озонаторы, где коронный разряд применяется для синтеза озона.
Ответ: Примерами использования электрического тока в газах являются: осветительные приборы (люминесцентные, неоновые, натриевые лампы), электродуговая сварка и резка металлов, газовые лазеры, счетчики Гейгера, озонаторы.
