Европеизация затронула и сферу культуры, полностью переделав не только художественное творчество, но и культуру в широком плане, то есть нематериальное наследие многонациональной страны. Культура ношения головных уборов - это тоже культура. А из-за Петра в России полностью забыли, как это всегда, даже под большой зимней шапкой, носить ещё тонкую скуфью и снимать её только в церкви, зато появилась культура ношения париков, которые тоже одевали под шапку, но, тем не менее, со скуфьёй они имели мало общего. Полностью поменялась культура домашнего быта. Это кроме того, что искусство стало светским, соответственно, появилось много новых жанров и были заложены предпосылки для появления ещё большего их количества. Например, пейзажей при Петре русские художники ещё не писали, но так как живопись стала светской и ориентировалась на европейские образцы, логично было ожидать, что рано или поздно это произойдет. Можно сказать, что Россия стала фактически другой цивилизацией, значит и культура у этой цивилизации теперь была другая. Поэтому и говорят о перевороте также культурном.
