Для решения задачи воспользуемся классическим определением вероятности, согласно которому вероятность события равна отношению числа благоприятствующих этому событию исходов к общему числу всех равновозможных несовместных элементарных исходов. Формула вероятности: $P = \frac{m}{n}$, где $n$ – общее число исходов, а $m$ – число благоприятствующих исходов.
Для начала определим общее число учащихся ($n$), которые писали работу. Для этого необходимо сложить все значения из второй строки таблицы "Количество учащихся":
$n = 23 + 38 + 89 + 97 + 114 + 82 + 53 + 24 = 520$
Таким образом, общее число исходов $n = 520$.
а) Требуется найти вероятность того, что случайно выбранный ученик набрал наибольшее количество баллов.
Согласно таблице, наибольшее количество баллов составляет 40. Число учащихся, набравших 40 баллов, равно 24. Это и есть число благоприятствующих исходов для данного события, то есть $m = 24$.
Теперь вычислим вероятность:
$P(а) = \frac{m}{n} = \frac{24}{520}$
Сократим полученную дробь. Числитель и знаменатель делятся на 8:
$P(а) = \frac{24 \div 8}{520 \div 8} = \frac{3}{65}$
Ответ: $\frac{3}{65}$
б) Требуется найти вероятность того, что случайно выбранный ученик набрал от 20 до 30 баллов.
Это событие наступает, если ученик набрал 20, 25 или 30 баллов. Найдем общее количество учащихся, которые соответствуют этому условию. Это будет числом благоприятствующих исходов $m$.
Число учащихся, набравших 20 баллов: 97.
Число учащихся, набравших 25 баллов: 114.
Число учащихся, набравших 30 баллов: 82.
Сложим эти значения, чтобы найти общее число благоприятствующих исходов:
$m = 97 + 114 + 82 = 293$
Теперь вычислим вероятность этого события:
$P(б) = \frac{m}{n} = \frac{293}{520}$
Данная дробь является несократимой, так как у числителя 293 и знаменателя 520 нет общих делителей, кроме 1 (293 – простое число).
