5 A. Read the text and say which of the following ideas cannot be found in it.
1) Television has to answer for a lot of problems in the society.
2) Grown-up programmes should not be shown at times when children watch television.
3) Programmes showing crimes are not interesting to children.
4) Not all TV programmes are made in good taste.
5) The amount of time when people watch TV must be limited.
6) Advertising on TV is not a very good idea.
Modern Television
Lately television has been criticized for being a threat to the society as it shows too much sex and violence. There are too many war films and, even worse, too many stories about secret agents, criminals and the police, who shoot people as if1 they were rabbits. Naturally, a lot of people don’t want television to show sex, violence and cruelty. They say such programmes, if they have to be shown at all, should never be run at prime time, which is when most people are watching television, or any other time when children can see them.
People also criticize tasteless programmes where rude jokes are made, bad language is used or where people are made to shamelessly fight over a sum of money or programmes spying on people at the most intimate [ˈɪntɪmət] moments of their lives. Such programmes show examples of humiliation and bad taste. Some political TV programmes introduce the views and ideas of one group of people instead of speaking about different views.
More than anything TV viewers dislike TV commercials2 that can spoil the impression of any programme.

В предложении говорится о программах, которые шпионят за людьми, поэтому “intimate moments” должно означать очень личные и сокровенные моменты.
I understood that commercials means advertising because the text says they spoil the impression of a programme and viewers dislike them. Usually, advertisements interrupt TV shows. / Я понял, что commercials — это реклама, потому что в тексте говорится, что она портит впечатление от программы и зрители ее не любят. Обычно телепередачи прерывает именно реклама.
