Ответ: In my country, I don't think there are a lot of vegetarians, but their number is slowly growing. It's not as common as in some other places. / В моей стране, я не думаю, что много вегетарианцев, но их число медленно растет. Это не так распространено, как в некоторых других местах.
2. Каково ваше мнение о «фриганстве»?
Ответ: I think freeganism is an interesting idea because it helps reduce food waste, which is a good thing. But it seems quite hard to always find food that way. / Я думаю, что фриганство — это интересная идея, потому что оно помогает сократить пищевые отходы, что хорошо. Но кажется довольно сложным всегда находить еду таким способом.
3. По вашему мнению, каковы преимущества и недостатки ГМ-продуктов?
Ответ: In my opinion, an advantage of GM food is that it can be made to grow bigger or faster, or be resistant to bugs, which could help feed more people. A disadvantage is that some people worry about how it might affect our health or the environment in the future, and if it's really safe. / По моему мнению, преимущество ГМ-продуктов в том, что их можно сделать более крупными или быстрорастущими, или устойчивыми к вредителям, что могло бы помочь накормить больше людей. Недостаток в том, что некоторые люди беспокоятся о том, как это может повлиять на наше здоровье или окружающую среду в будущем, и действительно ли это безопасно.
