Согласно условию задачи, абсциссы (координаты по оси $x$) этих точек равны. Запишем это математически:$x_M = x_N$$\frac{x_A + x_B}{2} = \frac{x_C + x_D}{2}$
Отрезок $MN$, соединяющий середины боковых сторон трапеции, является её средней линией. Условие $x_M = x_N$ означает, что точки $M$ и $N$ имеют одинаковую абсциссу. Геометрически это значит, что прямая, проходящая через точки $M$ и $N$, является вертикальной, то есть она параллельна оси ординат ($Oy$) и, следовательно, перпендикулярна оси абсцисс ($Ox$).
