Пусть искомая точка имеет координаты $M(x; y)$.
Условие "точка равноудалена от осей координат" означает, что расстояние от точки $M$ до оси $Ox$ равно расстоянию от точки $M$ до оси $Oy$. Расстояние от точки $M(x; y)$ до оси $Ox$ равно $|y|$, а до оси $Oy$ — $|x|$. Таким образом, мы получаем первое уравнение:
$|x| = |y|$.
Это равенство возможно в двух случаях:
1) $y = x$ (точки лежат на биссектрисе I и III координатных четвертей).

Решим полученное квадратное уравнение. По теореме Виета, сумма корней равна $-12$, а их произведение равно $20$. Легко подобрать корни:
$x_1 = -10$
$x_2 = -2$
Теперь найдем соответствующие значения $y$ по формуле $y = -x$:
При $x_1 = -10$, $y_1 = -(-10) = 10$. Координаты первой точки: $(-10; 10)$.
При $x_2 = -2$, $y_2 = -(-2) = 2$. Координаты второй точки: $(-2; 2)$.
