В этом случае результирующая сила направлена в ту же сторону, что и смещение. Такая сила не возвращает тело в положение равновесия, а наоборот, увеличивает его смещение. Положение равновесия $x=0$ становится неустойчивым. Любое случайное смещение будет нарастать, и доска будет сброшена с валиков.
Ответ: Положение равновесия станет неустойчивым. При малейшем смещении от центра доска начнет ускоренно двигаться в сторону смещения и в итоге будет сброшена с валиков.
