Лабораторная работа №9. Измерение электроёмкости конденсатора
🟦 Цель работы: изучить устройство плоского конденсатора и рассчитать его электроёмкость; сконструировать бумажный конденсатор из фольги и проверить, возможно ли за счёт энергии, запасённой в нём, зажечь светодиод.
🟦 Оборудование, средства измерения: 1) пластинки металлические — 2 шт., 2) пластинка стеклянная, 3) штангенциркуль, 4) линейка измерительная, 5) батарейка квадратная (плоская), 6) зажим типа «крокодил» — 2 шт., 7) рулон фольги бытовой, 8) рулон бумаги (полотенце бумажное), 9) светодиод.
🟦 Теоретическое обоснование
Электрическая ёмкость конденсатора — физическая величина, равная отношению заряда одного из проводников к разности потенциалов между этим проводником и соседним:
$C = \frac{Q}{U}$ (1)
В работе измеряется электроёмкость плоского конденсатора — система двух плоскопараллельных пластин 1 площадью S, находящихся на расстоянии d друг от друга (рис. 360).
Пространство между пластинами заполнено диэлектриком с относительной диэлектрической проницаемостью $\varepsilon$ (вставлена стеклянная пластина 2 толщиной d).
Вычисление электроёмкости сводится к расчёту разности потенциалов U между пластинами. При напряжённости Е однородного электростатического поля между пластинами плоского конденсатора
$U = Ed,$ (2)
Напряжённость Е однородного поля внутри конденсатора складывается (по принципу суперпозиции) из напряжённостей полей, созданных положительной $E_+$ и отрицательной $E_-$ пластинами:
$E = E_+ + E_-,$ (3)
В свою очередь, в среде с относительной диэлектрической проницаемостью $\varepsilon$
$E_+ = \frac{Q}{2S\varepsilon\varepsilon_0},$ (4)
где $\varepsilon_0 = 8,85 \cdot 10^{-12} \frac{Кл^2}{Н \cdot м^2}$ — электрическая постоянная.
Следовательно, разность потенциалов между пластинами плоского конденсатора:
$U = \frac{Qd}{S\varepsilon\varepsilon_0}.$ (5)
Подставляя значение U в формулу (1), находим электроёмкость плоского конденсатора с диэлектриком:
$C = \frac{S\varepsilon\varepsilon_0}{d}.$ (6)
Электроёмкость конденсатора зависит как от его геометрических характеристик (площади пластин, расстояния между ними), так и от относительной диэлектрической проницаемости вещества, заполняющего пространство между пластинами. Электроёмкость не зависит от заряда на пластинах и разности потенциалов, приложенной к ним.
🟦 Порядок выполнения работы
1. Соберите из двух металлических пластин и одной стеклянной (см. рис. 360) плоский конденсатор.

Для сборки плоского конденсатора необходимо взять две идентичные металлические пластины, которые будут служить обкладками, и расположить их строго параллельно друг другу. Пространство между обкладками заполняется диэлектриком — в данном случае, стеклянной пластиной. Важно обеспечить плотное прилегание диэлектрика к обкладкам по всей их площади. В результате будет создано устройство, предназначенное для накопления электрического заряда, — плоский конденсатор.
После сборки конденсатора произведем расчёт его основной характеристики — электроёмкости. Для этого воспользуемся формулами из теоретического обоснования, а геометрические параметры определим по рисунку 360 и справочным данным.
Дано:
Длина пластины, $a = 10$ см (измерено по линейке на рис. 360).
Ширина пластины, $b = 10$ см (принято, что пластина квадратная).
Толщина стеклянной пластины (расстояние между обкладками), $d = 2.5$ мм (оценка по показаниям штангенциркуля на рис. 360).
Относительная диэлектрическая проницаемость стекла, $\epsilon \approx 7$ (справочное значение, так как в условии не указано).
Электрическая постоянная, $\epsilon_0 = 8.85 \cdot 10^{-12}$ Ф/м.
Перевод в систему СИ:
$a = 10 \text{ см} = 0.1 \text{ м}$
$b = 10 \text{ см} = 0.1 \text{ м}$
$d = 2.5 \text{ мм} = 2.5 \cdot 10^{-3} \text{ м}$
Найти:
Электроёмкость конденсатора, $C$.
Решение:
Согласно формуле (6) из теоретического обоснования, электроёмкость плоского конденсатора с диэлектриком определяется как:
$C = \frac{\epsilon \epsilon_0 S}{d}$
где $S$ — площадь перекрытия пластин конденсатора, $\epsilon$ — диэлектрическая проницаемость материала между пластинами, $\epsilon_0$ — электрическая постоянная, $d$ — расстояние между пластинами.
1. Найдём площадь пластин конденсатора. Так как пластины полностью перекрывают друг друга, эта площадь равна площади одной пластины:
$S = a \cdot b = 0.1 \text{ м} \cdot 0.1 \text{ м} = 0.01 \text{ м}^2 = 10^{-2} \text{ м}^2$.
2. Подставим числовые значения в формулу для расчёта электроёмкости:
$C = \frac{7 \cdot 8.85 \cdot 10^{-12} \text{ Ф/м} \cdot 10^{-2} \text{ м}^2}{2.5 \cdot 10^{-3} \text{ м}}$
Произведём вычисления:
$C = \frac{61.95 \cdot 10^{-14}}{2.5 \cdot 10^{-3}} \text{ Ф} = 24.78 \cdot 10^{-11} \text{ Ф}$.
Для удобства представим результат в пикофарадах (1 пФ = $10^{-12}$ Ф):
$C = 24.78 \cdot 10^{-11} \text{ Ф} = 247.8 \cdot 10^{-12} \text{ Ф} \approx 248 \text{ пФ}$.
Ответ: электроёмкость собранного плоского конденсатора составляет приблизительно 248 пФ.
