Для того чтобы найти диагональ куба, можно дважды применить теорему Пифагора или воспользоваться общей формулой для диагонали прямоугольного параллелепипеда.
Способ 1: Двукратное применение теоремы Пифагора
1. Сначала найдем диагональ грани куба. Грань куба представляет собой квадрат со стороной $a$. Диагональ этого квадрата, обозначим ее $d_{грани}$, является гипотенузой прямоугольного треугольника с катетами, равными ребру куба $a$.
По теореме Пифагора:
$d_{грани}^2 = a^2 + a^2 = 2a^2$
Следовательно, $d_{грани} = \sqrt{2a^2} = a\sqrt{2}$.
2. Теперь рассмотрим прямоугольный треугольник, катетами которого являются диагональ грани ($d_{грани}$) и ребро куба ($a$), перпендикулярное этой грани. Гипотенузой этого треугольника будет диагональ самого куба, обозначим ее $d_{куба}$.
Снова по теореме Пифагора:
$d_{куба}^2 = (d_{грани})^2 + a^2$
Подставим найденное значение $d_{грани}^2$:
$d_{куба}^2 = 2a^2 + a^2 = 3a^2$
Извлекая квадратный корень, находим длину диагонали куба:
$d_{куба} = \sqrt{3a^2} = a\sqrt{3}$
Способ 2: Использование общей формулы
Квадрат диагонали прямоугольного параллелепипеда равен сумме квадратов трех его измерений (длины, ширины и высоты). Для куба все три измерения равны $a$.
$d^2 = a^2 + a^2 + a^2 = 3a^2$
Отсюда, диагональ куба $d$ равна:
$d = \sqrt{3a^2} = a\sqrt{3}$
Ответ: $a\sqrt{3}$
