Пусть дана правильная четырёхугольная пирамида $SABCD$, в основании которой лежит квадрат $ABCD$ со стороной $a$, а $S$ — её вершина. Диагональным сечением является равнобедренный треугольник, проходящий через вершину пирамиды и диагональ основания, например, треугольник $SAC$.
Площадь этого треугольника $S_{SAC}$ вычисляется по формуле половины произведения его основания на высоту. В качестве основания возьмём диагональ квадрата $AC$, а высотой будет высота пирамиды $SO$, где $O$ — центр основания (точка пересечения диагоналей квадрата).
$S_{SAC} = \frac{1}{2} \cdot AC \cdot SO$
1. Найдём длину диагонали основания $AC$.
Так как основание $ABCD$ — квадрат со стороной $a$, то по теореме Пифагора для прямоугольного треугольника $ABC$:
$AC = \sqrt{AB^2 + BC^2} = \sqrt{a^2 + a^2} = \sqrt{2a^2} = a\sqrt{2}$.
2. Найдём высоту пирамиды $SO$.
По условию, боковое ребро (например, $SA$) образует с плоскостью основания угол $\alpha$. Угол между прямой и плоскостью — это угол между этой прямой и её проекцией на плоскость. Проекцией вершины $S$ на плоскость основания является центр квадрата $O$, следовательно, проекцией ребра $SA$ на плоскость основания является отрезок $AO$. Таким образом, $\angle SAO = \alpha$.
Рассмотрим прямоугольный треугольник $SAO$ (где $\angle SOA = 90^\circ$). Длина катета $AO$ равна половине длины диагонали $AC$:
$AO = \frac{AC}{2} = \frac{a\sqrt{2}}{2}$.
Высота пирамиды $SO$ является вторым катетом в этом треугольнике. Мы можем найти её через тангенс угла $\alpha$:
$\tan(\alpha) = \frac{SO}{AO}$
$SO = AO \cdot \tan(\alpha) = \frac{a\sqrt{2}}{2} \tan(\alpha)$.
3. Вычислим площадь диагонального сечения $SAC$.
Теперь, имея длину основания $AC$ и высоту $SO$, подставим их в формулу площади:
$S_{SAC} = \frac{1}{2} \cdot AC \cdot SO = \frac{1}{2} \cdot (a\sqrt{2}) \cdot \left(\frac{a\sqrt{2}}{2} \tan(\alpha)\right) = \frac{1}{4} \cdot a^2 \cdot (\sqrt{2})^2 \cdot \tan(\alpha) = \frac{2a^2}{4} \tan(\alpha) = \frac{a^2}{2} \tan(\alpha)$.
