65. Translate the text into Russian. Try to preserve the original style of the author.
It is cold. A chill wind blows from the Bosphorus. We had come on our trip in late March, expecting sunshine and mild heat, and found hailstorms. When it rains in Istanbul the narrow streets below the Bazaar become torrents, impossible to walk through.
Our hotel is in the new part of Istanbul, near the Hilton, overlooking the Bosphorus, across which there is a newly built bridge. Standing on the balcony you can look from Europe to Asia. There are few places in the world where, poised on one continent, you can gaze over a strip of water at another.
We had wanted something more exotic. No more Alpine chalets and villas in Spain. We need yet another holiday, but a different holiday. We thought of the East. We imagined a landscape of minarets and domes out of the Arabian Nights. However, I pointed out the political uncertainties of the Middle East to my wife. She is sensitive to such things. In London bombs go off in the Hilton and restaurants in Mayfair.
“Well, Turkey then — Istanbul,” she said — we had the brochures open on the table, with their photographs of the Blue Mosque — “that’s not the Middle East. Istanbul is in Europe.”

Холодно. С Босфора дует пронизывающий ветер. Мы приехали в конце марта, ожидая солнца и легкого тепла, а застали град. Когда в Стамбуле идет дождь, узкие улочки ниже Базара превращаются в бурные потоки, по которым невозможно пройти.
Наш отель находится в новой части Стамбула, рядом с «Хилтоном», с видом на Босфор, через который перекинут новый мост. Стоя на балконе, можно смотреть из Европы в Азию. Немного в мире найдется мест, где, находясь на одном континенте, можно смотреть через полоску воды на другой.
Нам хотелось чего-то более экзотического. Никаких больше альпийских шале и вилл в Испании. Нам нужен был еще один отпуск, но совсем другой. Мы думали о Востоке. Мы представляли себе пейзаж с минаретами и куполами из «Тысячи и одной ночи». Однако я указал жене на политическую нестабильность на Ближнем Востоке. Она чувствительна к таким вещам. В Лондоне бомбы взрываются в «Хилтоне» и ресторанах в Мэйфэре.
«Ну, тогда Турция — Стамбул, — сказала она (у нас на столе были разложены брошюры с фотографиями Голубой мечети), — это не Ближний Восток. Стамбул — это Европа».
