Для проверки прямолинейности отструганной рейки используется фундаментальное свойство света, известное как закон прямолинейного распространения света. Этот закон утверждает, что в однородной прозрачной среде (в данном случае, в воздухе) свет распространяется по прямым линиям.
Когда человек смотрит вдоль кромки рейки, он совмещает свой глаз с одним концом кромки и смотрит на другой ее конец. Таким образом, линия взгляда человека становится эталонной прямой линией. Эта линия взгляда возможна именно потому, что световые лучи от дальнего конца рейки до глаза наблюдателя движутся по прямой.
Если рейка идеально прямая, то все ее точки лежат на одной прямой линии. В этом случае все промежуточные точки кромки будут скрыты за ближайшей к глазу точкой, и вся кромка будет выглядеть как одна точка или очень короткий отрезок.
Если же на рейке есть какие-либо искривления (выпуклости или вогнутости), то ее кромка будет отклоняться от этой прямой линии визирования. Выпуклые участки станут видны, так как они будут выступать над прямой линией, а вогнутые участки создадут разрыв в видимой линии. Таким образом, сравнивая форму кромки с идеально прямой траекторией светового луча, можно легко и точно определить ее прямолинейность.
Ответ: При проверке прямолинейности рейки используется свойство прямолинейного распространения света в однородной среде.
