Решение
В основе решения данной задачи лежит закон прямолинейного распространения света. Свет от точечного источника S распространяется во все стороны по прямым линиям (лучам).
Четыре горизонтально расположенные рейки являются непрозрачными препятствиями для света. Пространство между каждыми двумя соседними рейками образует узкую щель, через которую свет может проходить. Таким образом, в данной системе имеется три щели.
Чтобы определить, где на стене AB появятся светлые полосы, необходимо выполнить геометрическое построение. Для каждой из трех щелей нужно провести два луча из источника S, которые касаются краев этой щели (верхнего и нижнего). Эти два луча ограничивают пучок света, проходящий через щель.
Область на стене AB, заключенная между точками пересечения этих двух крайних лучей со стеной, будет освещена. Поскольку источник света S точечный, а щели узкие, на стене образуются узкие светлые полосы. Так как в системе три щели, на стене образуются три такие полосы. Расположение и размер полос зависят от взаимного расположения источника, реек и стены.
На рисунке ниже показано построение хода лучей и расположение светлых полос на стене AB.
Ответ: Узкие светлые полосы образуются на стене в тех местах, куда попадает свет от источника S, прошедший через щели между рейками. Каждая полоса является геометрической проекцией соответствующей щели на стену. Поскольку имеется три щели между четырьмя рейками, на стене образуются три отдельные светлые полосы.
