Как нужно расположить собирающую линзу, чтобы видеть в ней изображения букв этой строки увеличенными?
Чтобы увидеть увеличенное изображение, собирающую линзу необходимо использовать как лупу. Для этого предмет (буквы) следует расположить между линзой и её передним фокусом. Это означает, что расстояние от букв до оптического центра линзы $d$ должно быть меньше фокусного расстояния линзы $F$.
Математически это условие записывается как $d < F$.
