Решение
Близорукость, или миопия, — это дефект зрения, при котором человек хорошо видит объекты, расположенные на близком расстоянии, но плохо различает удалённые предметы. Причиной этого является то, что оптическая система глаза (хрусталик и роговица) имеет слишком большую преломляющую (оптическую) силу. Вследствие этого параллельные лучи света, идущие от далёких предметов, после преломления в глазу собираются в фокус не на сетчатке, а перед ней. На самой сетчатке получается расплывчатое изображение.
Чтобы скорректировать этот дефект, необходимо уменьшить общую оптическую силу системы «линза очков + глаз». Для этого перед глазом помещают линзу, которая бы ослабляла преломление лучей. Такие линзы называются рассеивающими.
Оптическая сила $D$ линзы является величиной, обратной её фокусному расстоянию $F$. Для системы из двух тонких линз (линза очков $D_{оч}$ и оптическая система глаза $D_{гл}$), расположенных вплотную, их общая оптическая сила $D_{общ}$ равна сумме их оптических сил:
$D_{общ} = D_{гл} + D_{оч}$
Так как у близорукого глаза оптическая сила $D_{гл}$ избыточна (слишком велика), для её компенсации и получения нормального зрения (т.е. для уменьшения $D_{общ}$) необходимо, чтобы оптическая сила линзы в очках $D_{оч}$ была отрицательной.
Линзы, имеющие отрицательную оптическую силу, являются рассеивающими. Они делают пучок параллельных лучей расходящимся, как бы отодвигая мнимое изображение объекта на конечное расстояние (в точку ясного видения близорукого глаза), которое глаз затем способен сфокусировать на сетчатке.
Ответ: В очках у близорукого человека используют рассеивающие линзы.
