Пусть дан равнобедренный треугольник $ABC$, в котором боковые стороны $AB = BC$, а $AC$ — основание. По свойству равнобедренного треугольника, углы при основании равны: $\angle BAC = \angle BCA$.
Рассмотрим внешний угол при вершине $B$. Для этого продлим сторону $CB$ за точку $B$ и получим точку $D$. Внешний угол при вершине $B$ — это угол $\angle ABD$.
По свойству внешнего угла треугольника, он равен сумме двух внутренних углов, не смежных с ним:
$\angle ABD = \angle BAC + \angle BCA$
Так как в равнобедренном треугольнике углы при основании равны ($\angle BAC = \angle BCA$), то можно записать:
$\angle ABD = \angle BAC + \angle BAC = 2 \cdot \angle BAC$
Проведем биссектрису $BE$ внешнего угла $\angle ABD$. По определению биссектрисы, она делит угол на два равных угла:
$\angle ABE = \frac{1}{2} \angle ABD$
Подставим в это равенство выражение для $\angle ABD$:
$\angle ABE = \frac{1}{2} (2 \cdot \angle BAC) = \angle BAC$
Теперь рассмотрим прямые $BE$ и $AC$ и секущую $AB$. Углы $\angle ABE$ и $\angle BAC$ являются накрест лежащими. Поскольку мы доказали, что $\angle ABE = \angle BAC$, то по признаку параллельности прямых (если накрест лежащие углы равны, то прямые параллельны), прямая $BE$ параллельна прямой $AC$.
Таким образом, биссектриса внешнего угла при вершине равнобедренного треугольника параллельна его основанию.
