$D = (-4)^2 - 4 \cdot 1 \cdot (4 - p) = 16 - 4(4 - p) = 16 - 16 + 4p = 4p$
4. Теперь решим неравенство $D > 0$:
$4p > 0$
Разделив обе части на 4, получаем:
$p > 0$
Таким образом, уравнение имеет два различных корня при всех значениях $p$, больших нуля.
Способ 2: Графический
1. Рассмотрим исходное уравнение $x^2 - 4x + 4 = p$ как равенство двух функций: $y = x^2 - 4x + 4$ и $y = p$. Количество решений (корней) уравнения равно количеству точек пересечения графиков этих функций.
2. Проанализируем функцию $y = x^2 - 4x + 4$. Заметим, что левая часть является полным квадратом:
