Решение
Намагнитить стальной стержень, который является ферромагнетиком, можно несколькими способами. Все они основаны на создании внешнего магнитного поля, которое упорядочит внутреннюю структуру материала — магнитные домены. Рассмотрим два основных способа.
Способ 1: Намагничивание с помощью постоянного магнита
Этот метод является самым простым и не требует специального оборудования, кроме сильного постоянного магнита.
1. Возьмите стальной стержень и сильный постоянный магнит (например, полосовой).
2. Положите стержень на ровную неметаллическую поверхность.
3. Одним из полюсов постоянного магнита (например, северным N) коснитесь одного из концов стального стержня.
4. С небольшим нажимом проведите полюсом магнита вдоль всей длины стержня до противоположного конца. Движение должно быть строго в одном направлении.
5. Дойдя до конца стержня, отведите магнит в сторону и по воздуху верните его к началу стержня для повторения цикла. Нельзя вести магнит обратно по стержню.
6. Повторите эту процедуру многократно (20-30 раз). Чем больше повторений, тем сильнее намагнитится стержень.
В результате стержень станет постоянным магнитом. Тот конец стержня, с которого вы убирали магнит, приобретет полярность, противоположную полярности того полюса, которым вы проводили по стержню. В нашем примере этот конец станет южным полюсом (S).
Ответ: Стальной стержень можно намагнитить, многократно проводя по нему в одном и том же направлении одним из полюсов сильного постоянного магнита.
Способ 2: Намагничивание с помощью электрического тока
Этот способ основан на явлении электромагнетизма — создании магнитного поля электрическим током.
1. Возьмите стальной стержень и изолированный провод (например, медный в лаковой изоляции).
2. Плотно намотайте провод на стержень, создавая катушку (соленоид). Чем больше витков будет у катушки, тем более сильное магнитное поле можно будет создать.
3. Подключите концы провода к источнику постоянного тока, например, к батарейке, аккумулятору или лабораторному источнику питания. Важно использовать именно постоянный ток (DC), так как переменный ток (AC) будет постоянно перемагничивать стержень в разных направлениях, и он не станет постоянным магнитом.
4. Когда по катушке пойдет ток, внутри нее возникнет сильное магнитное поле, направленное вдоль оси стержня. Это поле вызовет ориентацию магнитных доменов в стали.
5. Подержите стержень в магнитном поле в течение нескольких секунд, а затем отключите источник тока.
Благодаря тому, что сталь является магнитно-жестким материалом, она сохранит значительную часть приобретенной намагниченности после выключения поля. Стержень станет постоянным магнитом. Его полюса можно определить с помощью правила правой руки (правила буравчика).
Ответ: Стальной стержень можно намагнитить, поместив его внутрь катушки (соленоида) и пропустив через обмотку катушки сильный постоянный электрический ток.
