Начальная скорость санок: $v_0 = 0$ м/с
Конечная скорость санок: $v_к = 0$ м/с
Найти:
Коэффициент трения: $\mu$
Решение:
Воспользуемся законом сохранения энергии с учётом работы сил трения. Изменение полной механической энергии системы равно работе неконсервативных сил (в данном случае, работе силы трения).
$\Delta E = A_{тр}$
В начальный момент времени (на вершине горы) санки обладают только потенциальной энергией, так как их скорость равна нулю. Примем за нулевой уровень потенциальной энергии горизонтальную площадку.
$E_1 = E_{п1} + E_{к1} = mgH + 0 = mgH$
В конечный момент времени (после остановки на горизонтальной площадке) полная механическая энергия санок равна нулю, так как высота и скорость равны нулю.
$E_2 = E_{п2} + E_{к2} = 0 + 0 = 0$
Таким образом, изменение полной механической энергии равно:
$\Delta E = E_2 - E_1 = 0 - mgH = -mgH$
Работа силы трения $A_{тр}$ складывается из работы на наклонном участке (склоне горы) $A_{тр1}$ и работы на горизонтальном участке $A_{тр2}$.
$A_{тр} = A_{тр1} + A_{тр2}$
1. Работа силы трения на склоне горы ($A_{тр1}$).
Сила трения на склоне равна $F_{тр1} = \mu N_1$, где $N_1$ – сила нормальной реакции опоры. На наклонной плоскости $N_1 = mg \cos\alpha$, где $\alpha$ – угол наклона горы к горизонту. Длина склона горы $\text{L}$ находится по теореме Пифагора: $L = \sqrt{a^2 + H^2}$.
Работа силы трения на склоне: $A_{тр1} = -F_{тр1} \cdot L = -(\mu mg \cos\alpha) \cdot L$.
Из геометрии склона (прямоугольный треугольник) видно, что $\cos\alpha = \frac{a}{L}$.
Подставим это в формулу для работы: $A_{тр1} = -\mu mg \frac{a}{L} \cdot L = -\mu mga$.
2. Работа силы трения на горизонтальном участке ($A_{тр2}$).
На горизонтальном участке сила нормальной реакции опоры $N_2 = mg$.
Сила трения $F_{тр2} = \mu N_2 = \mu mg$.
Работа силы трения на этом участке: $A_{тр2} = -F_{тр2} \cdot s = -\mu mgs$.
Теперь можем найти общую работу силы трения:
$A_{тр} = A_{тр1} + A_{тр2} = -\mu mga - \mu mgs = -\mu mg(a+s)$
Приравняем изменение энергии и работу силы трения:
$\Delta E = A_{тр}$
$-mgH = -\mu mg(a+s)$
Сократим обе части уравнения на $-mg$ (масса и ускорение свободного падения не равны нулю):
$H = \mu (a+s)$
Отсюда выразим искомый коэффициент трения $\mu$:
$\mu = \frac{H}{a+s}$
Подставим числовые значения:
$\mu = \frac{2}{5 + 35} = \frac{2}{40} = \frac{1}{20} = 0.05$
Ответ: $\mu = 0.05$.
