Мячик считается легким, то есть его масса $\text{m}$ много меньше массы ноги $\text{M}$ ($m \ll M$).
Начальная скорость мячика: $v_0 = 0 \text{ м/с}$

Найти:
Скорость мячика после удара $\text{v}$.
Решение
Рассмотрим взаимодействие мячика и ноги как абсолютно упругий удар. Так как по условию мячик "легкий", а нога, по сравнению с ним, "тяжелая", мы имеем дело со столкновением легкого тела с массивным. Решать такую задачу удобно, перейдя в систему отсчета, связанную с массивным телом — ногой.
1. В лабораторной системе отсчета (связанной с землей) нога движется со скоростью $\text{u}$, а мячик покоится ($v_0 = 0$).
2. Перейдем в систему отсчета, движущуюся вместе с ногой со скоростью $\text{u}$. В этой системе нога покоится. Скорость мячика относительно ноги до удара будет:
$v_{отн} = v_0 - u = 0 - u = -u$
Знак "минус" означает, что в этой системе отсчета мячик движется навстречу ноге.
3. Поскольку масса ноги много больше массы мячика ($M \gg m$), при ударе скорость ноги практически не изменится. В связанной с ногой системе отсчета она ведет себя как неподвижная массивная стенка. При абсолютно упругом ударе о неподвижную стенку скорость мячика меняет свое направление на противоположное, сохраняя модуль. Таким образом, скорость мячика после удара в этой системе отсчета будет:
$v'_{отн} = -v_{отн} = -(-u) = u$
4. Теперь вернемся в исходную, лабораторную систему отсчета. Чтобы найти скорость мячика $\text{v}$ в этой системе, нужно к его скорости в подвижной системе ($v'_{отн}$) прибавить скорость самой подвижной системы ($\text{u}$):
$v = v'_{отн} + u$
Подставляя найденное значение $v'_{отн}$, получаем:
$v = u + u = 2u$
5. Вычислим итоговую скорость мячика:
$v = 2 \cdot 10 \text{ м/с} = 20 \text{ м/с}$
Ответ: скорость, которую приобрел мячик, равна $v = 20 \text{ м/с}$.
