Для решения задачи обозначим стороны шести квадратов, из которых состоит прямоугольник, переменными. Будем исходить из топологии их расположения на рисунке.
Прямоугольник разделен на верхний и нижний ряды. В верхнем ряду находятся два квадрата. Обозначим сторону левого верхнего квадрата как $x$, а правого верхнего — как $y$.
Нижний ряд состоит из четырех квадратов. Обозначим их стороны слева направо: $a, c, d, b$.
Согласно условию, сторона самого маленького квадрата равна 1. По рисунку видно, что самый маленький квадрат — это $d$. Таким образом, $d=1$.
Теперь составим систему уравнений, исходя из геометрии рисунка:
- Вертикальная линия, разделяющая верхние квадраты $x$ и $y$, продолжается вниз и разделяет нижние квадраты. Это означает, что квадрат $x$ расположен над квадратами $a$ и $c$, а квадрат $y$ — над квадратами $d$ и $b$.
Отсюда следуют соотношения для ширин:
$x = a + c$
$y = d + b$ - Горизонтальная линия под квадратом $x$ является общей верхней стороной для квадратов $a$ и $c$. Это возможно только если высоты (а значит и стороны) этих квадратов равны.
$a = c$ - Аналогично, горизонтальная линия под квадратом $y$ является общей верхней стороной для квадратов $d$ и $b$. Следовательно, их стороны равны.
$d = b$ - Высота прямоугольника $ABCD$ одинакова по всей длине. Высота левой стороны равна сумме стороны верхнего квадрата $x$ и нижнего $a$. Высота правой стороны равна сумме стороны верхнего квадрата $y$ и нижнего $b$.
$H = x + a = y + b$
Теперь решим полученную систему уравнений:
Из условия мы знаем, что сторона самого маленького квадрата равна 1. Мы обозначили его как $d$.
Итак, $d = 1$.
Из уравнения $d = b$ следует, что $b = 1$.
Теперь найдем сторону $y$ из уравнения $y = d + b$:
$y = 1 + 1 = 2$.
Подставим известные значения в уравнение для высоты $x + a = y + b$:
$x + a = 2 + 1$
$x + a = 3$.
Используем соотношения $a=c$ и $x = a + c$:
$x = a + a = 2a$.
Теперь подставим выражение для $x$ в уравнение $x + a = 3$:
$2a + a = 3$
$3a = 3$
$a = 1$.
Так как $a = c$, то $c = 1$.
И, наконец, найдем $x$:
$x = 2a = 2 \cdot 1 = 2$.
Таким образом, мы нашли стороны всех шести квадратов:
- Сторона левого верхнего квадрата: $x = 2$.
- Сторона правого верхнего квадрата: $y = 2$.
- Стороны четырех нижних квадратов: $a=1, c=1, d=1, b=1$.
Все стороны равны либо 1, либо 2. Самый маленький квадрат действительно имеет сторону 1 (в данном случае их оказалось несколько). Самый большой квадрат имеет сторону 2.
