Чтобы разделить хорду пополам с помощью угольника, необходимо выполнить следующие построения, основанные на свойстве радиуса, перпендикулярного хорде.
План построения:
- Начертить окружность с центром в точке $O$.
- Провести в этой окружности произвольную хорду $AB$. Хорда не должна быть диаметром, так как в этом случае она уже разделена пополам центром окружности.
- Взять угольник (треугольник с прямым углом).
- Приложить одну из сторон угольника, образующих прямой угол, к хорде $AB$.
- Перемещать угольник вдоль хорды $AB$ до тех пор, пока вторая сторона угольника, образующая прямой угол, не совпадет с центром окружности $O$.
- Провести из точки $O$ перпендикуляр к хорде $AB$ вдоль этой стороны угольника. Обозначим точку пересечения перпендикуляра с хордой $AB$ как точку $M$.
Обоснование:
Мы построили отрезок $OM$ так, что $OM \perp AB$. В окружности радиус (или его часть), перпендикулярный хорде, делит эту хорду пополам. Следовательно, точка $M$ является серединой хорды $AB$, и $AM = MB$.
Ответ: Для того чтобы разделить хорду $AB$ пополам, нужно с помощью угольника провести из центра окружности $O$ перпендикуляр к этой хорде. Точка пересечения этого перпендикуляра с хордой и будет её серединой.
