По условию задачи даны длины следующих отрезков: $AE = AD = 2$ см, $BE = CD = 3$ см и $BD = 4$ см.
Найдем длины сторон $AB$ и $AC$ треугольника $ABC$. Точки $E$ и $D$ расположены на сторонах $AB$ и $AC$ соответственно.
Длина стороны $AB$ является суммой длин отрезков $AE$ и $EB$: $AB = AE + EB = 2 \text{ см} + 3 \text{ см} = 5 \text{ см}$.
Аналогично, длина стороны $AC$ является суммой длин отрезков $AD$ и $DC$: $AC = AD + DC = 2 \text{ см} + 3 \text{ см} = 5 \text{ см}$.
Теперь рассмотрим два треугольника: $\Delta ABD$ и $\Delta ACE$. Сравним их элементы. Во-первых, $AB = AC = 5$ см. Во-вторых, $AD = AE = 2$ см. В-третьих, угол $\angle A$ является общим для этих двух треугольников.
Поскольку две стороны и угол между ними одного треугольника ($\Delta ABD$) соответственно равны двум сторонам и углу между ними другого треугольника ($\Delta ACE$), эти треугольники равны по первому признаку равенства треугольников.
Из равенства треугольников $\Delta ABD \cong \Delta ACE$ следует равенство их соответственных сторон. Стороны $BD$ и $CE$ лежат напротив общего угла $\angle A$, следовательно, они равны: $CE = BD$.
Из условия известно, что $BD = 4$ см. Таким образом, длина искомого отрезка $CE$ также составляет 4 см.
Ответ: 4 см.
