Закон Хаббла (также известный как закон Хаббла — Леметра) — это фундаментальный закон космологии, который был сформулирован на основе наблюдений Эдвина Хаббла в 1929 году. Он гласит, что скорости, с которыми галактики удаляются от нас, прямо пропорциональны расстоянию до этих галактик. Другими словами, чем дальше от нас находится галактика, тем быстрее она от нас «убегает». Это явление является прямым наблюдательным подтверждением теории расширяющейся Вселенной. Важно понимать, что это не разлет галактик в некоем статичном пространстве, а расширение самого пространства-времени, которое увлекает за собой галактики, увеличивая расстояние между ними.
Математически закон Хаббла записывается в виде следующего выражения:
$v = H_0 \cdot r$
В этой формуле:
- $v$ — это скорость удаления галактики (часто называемая лучевой скоростью). Она определяется по эффекту Доплера для света, а именно по красному смещению ($z$) в спектре галактики. Для скоростей, малых по сравнению со скоростью света ($c$), справедливо приближение $v \approx z \cdot c$.
- $r$ — это расстояние до галактики.
