1. Рассмотрим прямые a и b и секущую m. Углы $\angle 1$ и $\angle 2$ являются соответственными углами, образованными при пересечении этих прямых секущей.
2. По условию задачи $\angle 1 = \angle 2$. Согласно признаку параллельности прямых, если при пересечении двух прямых секущей соответственные углы равны, то прямые параллельны. Следовательно, $a \parallel b$.
3. Также по условию задачи дано, что прямая a перпендикулярна прямой n ($a \perp n$).
4. Применим свойство параллельных прямых: если прямая перпендикулярна одной из двух параллельных прямых, то она перпендикулярна и другой.
5. Так как мы установили, что $a \parallel b$, и нам дано, что $a \perp n$, то из этого следует, что прямая b также перпендикулярна прямой n, то есть $b \perp n$.
Что и требовалось доказать.
Ответ: Утверждение о том, что $b \perp n$, доказано.
