Анализ и план построения
Пусть дан острый угол $∠A$ со сторонами $s_1$ и $s_2$. На стороне $s_1$ дана точка $O$ — центр искомой окружности. Пусть дан отрезок длины $l$. Окружность должна пересекать сторону $s_2$ в точках $M$ и $N$ так, что хорда $MN$ имеет длину $l$.
Обозначим радиус искомой окружности как $R$. Проведём из центра $O$ перпендикуляр $OH$ на прямую, содержащую сторону $s_2$. Длина этого перпендикуляра, $d = OH$, является расстоянием от центра до хорды $MN$. В равнобедренном треугольнике $OMN$ ($OM=ON=R$) высота $OH$ также является медианой, поэтому $MH = HN = \frac{l}{2}$.
Из прямоугольного треугольника $OHM$ по теореме Пифагора следует: $R^2 = OM^2 = OH^2 + MH^2$. Подставив известные величины, получаем $R^2 = d^2 + (\frac{l}{2})^2$.
Следовательно, для построения окружности необходимо сначала найти её радиус $R$. Этот радиус является гипотенузой прямоугольного треугольника, катеты которого равны расстоянию $d=OH$ и половине длины $l$.
Построение
1. Из точки $O$ опускаем перпендикуляр $OH$ на прямую, содержащую сторону $s_2$. Для этого строим окружность с центром в $O$, пересекающую прямую $s_2$ в двух точках, а затем строим серединный перпендикуляр к отрезку между этими точками.
2. Делим данный отрезок длины $l$ пополам (например, с помощью построения серединного перпендикуляра), чтобы получить отрезок длиной $\frac{l}{2}$.
3. Строим прямоугольный треугольник для нахождения радиуса $R$. Для этого проводим произвольную прямую и восставляем к ней перпендикуляр в некоторой точке $P$. На одном луче откладываем катет, равный $OH$, а на перпендикулярном луче — катет, равный $\frac{l}{2}$. Гипотенуза полученного треугольника будет иметь длину $R$.
4. Строим окружность с центром в точке $O$ и найденным радиусом $R$. Эта окружность и будет искомой, так как она по построению имеет данный центр и отсекает на другой стороне угла хорду нужной длины.
Ответ: Искомая окружность строится с центром в данной точке $O$ и радиусом $R$, который находится как гипотенуза прямоугольного треугольника с катетами $d$ и $l/2$, где $d$ — расстояние от точки $O$ до другой стороны угла, а $l$ — заданная длина отрезка. Задача всегда имеет единственное решение, поскольку радиус $R=\sqrt{d^2+(l/2)^2}$ всегда будет больше расстояния $d$.
