Для того чтобы доказать, что уравнение $5x^6 + 6x^4 + x^2 + 4 = 0$ не имеет корней, проанализируем его левую часть.
Обратим внимание, что все слагаемые, содержащие переменную $x$, имеют четные степени: $x^6$, $x^4$, $x^2$. Для любого действительного числа $x$ значение выражения в четной степени всегда является неотрицательным (то есть больше или равно нулю).
