1. Почему олово можно расплавить на свече, а железо нельзя?
Это явление объясняется существенной разницей в температурах плавления этих двух металлов. Температура плавления — это температура, при которой вещество переходит из твердого агрегатного состояния в жидкое.
У олова температура плавления относительно низкая и составляет примерно $232 \text{ °C}$.
У железа температура плавления значительно выше — около $1538 \text{ °C}$.
Температура пламени обычной парафиновой свечи может достигать в самой горячей его части $1400 \text{ °C}$. Таяние снега в лесу происходит медленнее, чем на открытой местности, по нескольким взаимосвязанным причинам, главной из которых является количество получаемой солнечной энергии.
1. Затенение. Основной источник тепла для таяния снега весной — это прямое солнечное излучение. В лесу густые кроны деревьев, особенно хвойных, создают тень и блокируют значительную часть солнечных лучей. В результате снежный покров в лесу получает гораздо меньше тепловой энергии, чем снег на открытом поле или лугу.
2. Аккумуляция снега. В лесу снег защищен от ветра, поэтому он накапливается более толстым и рыхлым слоем. На таяние большей массы снега требуется большее количество теплоты и, соответственно, больше времени.
3. Теплоизоляция. Почва в лесу покрыта слоем опавших листьев, хвои и мха (лесная подстилка), который является хорошим теплоизолятором. Этот слой замедляет прогревание земли под снегом, что также способствует более медленному таянию.
Таким образом, комплекс этих факторов приводит к тому, что весеннее потепление в лесу происходит менее интенсивно, и снег сохраняется дольше.
